Michael is a third generation watchmaker who began his training in 2000 via apprenticeship under his father and uncle at Woods Jewellers in Colac, Victoria.
After completing his apprenticeship, he travelled to Neuchâtel, Switzerland in 2004 to attend the prestigious watchmaking school, WOSTEP, where he received his Diploma.
In 2005, he returned to Australia and accepted a position with Rolex to work in their Melbourne Service Centre.
In 2008, he became Head Watchmaker, managing the Rolex Melbourne Service Centre until 2017 before making the decision to become independent and return to where his training began over 20 years ago.
Due to extensive training and experience with Rolex, Michael specialises in the repair and restoration of vintage Rolex and Tudor. He is also authorised to service Nomos.
